Terms of Service
Effective date: July 18, 2026
This is a template provided for review and should be reviewed by a legal professional before relying on it.
1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of FamilyTrip Pro ("the Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
FamilyTrip Pro is a collaborative trip-planning application. It lets you and the members of your organization create and manage trips, itineraries and activities, expenses, photos, and tasks; invite others to collaborate; and generate AI-powered trip summaries and insights. We may add, change, or remove features from time to time.
3. Accounts and Organizations
You must create an account to use the Service, and you are responsible for the activity that occurs under your account. Provide accurate information and keep your login credentials secure.
The Service is organized around organizations. Each member of an organization has a role (owner, admin, member, or viewer) that determines what they can see and do. Owners and admins are responsible for managing membership, including who they invite. When you invite someone by email, you confirm that you have the right to share that email address with us.
4. Plans and Billing
The Service offers a free plan and paid subscription plans with higher limits (such as more members, trips, storage, and AI generations). Plan features and limits are described in the Service and may change with notice. If you purchase a paid plan, the price, billing period, and renewal terms are presented at the time of purchase. You can cancel a paid plan at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
5. Your Content
You retain ownership of the content you add to the Service — trips, activities, expenses, photos, tasks, and other materials ("Your Content"). By using the Service you grant us a limited license to host, store, process, display, and transmit Your Content solely to operate and improve the Service, including processing itinerary data through our AI provider when you use AI features and storing photos with our photo storage provider.
You are responsible for Your Content and must have the necessary rights to it, including for any photos you upload of other people. Content you add to an organization is visible to that organization's members according to their roles.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms
- Upload content that is infringing, harmful, or that you lack rights to share
- Attempt to access data belonging to other organizations or circumvent access controls
- Probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service, or disrupt its operation
- Resell, sublicense, or use the Service to build a competing product
- Use automated means to access the Service beyond its intended interfaces
7. AI-Generated Content
AI trip summaries and insights are generated automatically from your trip data and are provided for convenience only. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Do not rely on AI-generated content for decisions involving safety, health, travel documentation, or bookings without verifying the information yourself.
8. Third-Party Services
The Service depends on third-party providers, including authentication, database hosting, photo storage, AI processing, email delivery, application hosting, and mapping services, as described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for outages or changes in third-party services, though we will make reasonable efforts to keep the Service available.
9. Termination and Account Deletion
You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account and associated personal data, contact our support team and we will process the request as described in the Privacy Policy. We may suspend or terminate your access if you materially breach these Terms, misuse the Service, or create risk for us or other users. Where practical, we will give you notice and an opportunity to export your content.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that your data will never be lost — please keep copies of anything irreplaceable.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of these Terms or the Service will not exceed the greater of the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or one hundred US dollars (USD $100).
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from Your Content, your use of the Service, or your violation of these Terms.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page and, for material changes, notify you through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of that jurisdiction.
